GREAT BAY--St. Maarten company Sound 2000 on Wednesday announced its 30th anniversary serving St. Maarten and the region and extended thanks to the 32 member crew that delivered production for the 25th edition of the Dominica World Creole Music Festival. The company recognized the months of planning, precise logistics, and teamwork required to execute a festival of this scale.

Sound 2000 thanks Dominica and the Dominica Festivals Committee for their continued trust in the company’s production services. It is not the first time the company provided its services for the festival, executing major shipping logistics and multiple containers of equipment from St. Maarten to the Nature Isle. The company has evolved over the years into more than just sound and provided the festival with impressive LED screens and special effects that brought extra excitement and ambiance to the event.

The company also thanks clients across St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Saba, Statia, St. Barts, Dominica, and beyond for their support over the years. Appreciation is extended to supporters, friends, and team members not pictured or on site, whose contributions remain essential.

Founded in 1996, Sound 2000 is the largest sound production company on St. Maarten. The company has serviced every major local and international event on the island, including St. Maarten Carnival, where it has served as the main sound and lighting production company for decades. It will once again by the provider of sound and lighting for the 55th anniversary of St. Maarten Carnival in 2026.

Sound 2000 provides audio, lighting, staging, and production management for events across the Caribbean. The company supports concerts, festivals, corporate events, and cultural programs with scalable solutions and trained crews.
