GREAT BAY--Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication (TEATT), Grisha Heyliger-Marten, has announced that the Front Desk of the Department of Economic Licenses will reopen on Monday, August 25th, at the Public Service Center.
The reopening marks another step in government’s effort to streamline services and improve accessibility for the business community. Going forward, clients will no longer need appointments but can simply take a number upon arrival. While submissions will continue to be accepted only in digital format, the Front Desk will now function as an Information Desk, offering targeted support in several key areas:
• Guidance on how to apply online
• Clarity on license types
• Assistance with annual Business License Extension invoices for companies established before 2024
• Issuing invoices for new businesses established in 2024
• General inquiries regarding application status
In addition to the in-person Information Desk, the public may continue to access services through the following options:
1. Online applications via the Department’s webpage: Department of Economic Licenses
2. Guidance at the Information Desk located in the Government Building
